Ready or Not...I'm Ready

All week I have been following new Facebook pages, learning more about the challenge meal plans, networking with some of the Beachbody coaches and challenge participants and even going back-and-forth with a group specific to keeping up with the challenges while traveling!

I. AM. READY. 
READY FOR CHANGE!

In fact, I have almost deliberately neglected my body this week knowing that next week is the week when the real lifestyle changes are going to start! I thought about working out a few times and tried to choose a healthier dinner option--but then I realized that I've got 80 days of good "behavior" coming up and that I wasn't going to deny myself of guilty pleasures this week.

But, with that being said. This week is it. On Monday, I weigh in and I take measurements and I embark on healthier eating habits and a rigorous workout routine. It's going to be very difficult, on many levels.

  1. I'm going to be changing my eating habits and praying that my family doesn't hate it every step of the way! 
  2. I'm going to have to force myself to get up early in the mornings and get that work out in. 
  3. I'm going to be sore, and I do not look forward to that. 
  4. I'm going to be held accountable for my health and fitness actions. I want to shine! 
  5. I'm going to have to skip that beer or glass of wine with dinner. I need to find different ways to relieve stress! 


I pray that I'm up for the challenge. I'm terrified that I will fail. What will it say about me--not to the world, but to myself. It's time to put my mind and body ahead of other desires and make a difference in my life and hopefully in my families as well. 

If it was easy everyone would do it! 

I accept the challenge. Ready or Not...I'm ready!
